I have a lot going on, and much of it from just the past few months. I guess the best thing to do is to start by discussing what I CAN talk about.
~ As many of you know, Rose Warner and I ran The Florida Table for many years. It was a networking group focused on promoting film in South Florida. However, after her passing and then the pandemic, the group went dormant. In the meantime, I was getting countless requests to restart the group. Well, I'm here to tell you that WE'RE BACK!!! The group has been rebooted under the name Florida Arts Network. We're doing things a little differently this time around. First, we want to be more inclusive by working with more branches of the arts. We are also introducing workshops. Yes, filming is still a big part of our focus, so we want to work with filmmakers to help them get financing for their projects. And of course, we want to help actors hone their craft and find work. But we also want to promote musical and visual arts. I understand that there will be a bit of a learning curve, so we are open to suggestions. If you would like to join us, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram so that you can be kept up-to-date on our latest activities.
~ Classes - I am currently available for private coaching for actors, and have put together kid, teen, and adult group acting classes for the new year. The classes will be over Zoom, and will meet for 1.5 hours, four times per month. I am also available for consulting with filmmakers and writers. Go to my appointments page for more information.
~ I am working on three different film projects. Unfortunately, I cannot go into detail on any of them other than to say that two are comedies, and one is a thriller. All are actively in pre-production, so I hope to be able to talk more about them soon.
